Take measurements while wearing a molded but unpadded bra. Wrap a measuring tape around your bust. Put it around your body, across your shoulder blades and under your armpits all the way to the front. It should be wrapped around the fullest part of your bust. Make sure you keep the tape straight and parallel with the floor. In case you are taking measurements for a bra you will need to measure right below your bust as well.
Place the measuring tape about 2 to 3 centimeters (or 2 inches) above your bellybutton, right at the narrowest part of your waist. Relax your stomach and wrap the tape around your waist to measure.
Wrap a measuring tape around your hips. Place the measuring tape across the widest part of your hips and measure all the way around. Make sure you keep the tape straight and parallel to the floor.
D. ARMS (inner & outer)
Inner arm: to take your inner arm measurements, start underneath the armpit and stop at the wrist.
Outer arm: start measuring from the end of your shoulder at the top of your arm, all the way down to your wrist.
E. LEGS (inner & outer)
Inner leg: start measuring from the uppermost inner part of your thigh to your ankle bone. Try to keep your legs straight and feet in a parallel position.
Outer leg: start at your hip bone and measure all the way down to your ankle bone.
Stand up straight with your legs next to each other and your bare feet flat on the ground. Stand in front of a mirror to make sure you measure correctly. Maintaining the right posture is key to take accurate measurements. Measure your height from the bottom of your feet up to the top of your head.
