Festive attitude

Since the sumptuous fabric permeated our wardrobes during AW16, the soft-to-touch textile has become the ultimate party favourite for colder months. Luckily for those who want to envelop themselves in cosy-looking get-ups with a festive allure, velvet is here to stay for the season. The autumn/winter 2017 runways were flooded with velvet that caught the light gracefully with every step. While Anthony Vaccarello remained true to Saint Laurent's after-dark DNA by incorporating shimmering black velvet dresses, Maria Grazia Chiuri went for a broodier, cool-girl look for her Dior woman with midnight blue evening wear. At Ulla Johnson, night-time dresses were belted, ruffled or ruched in dark topaz making them versatile enough for daytime ensembles.

Merry & Bright

With the days counting down to the holiday festivities, we turn to the brightest shades ever to turn the end of the year into a thing of pure joy.

Sophisticated Baroque Drama

Theatrical sleeves, gold embroidery or dramatic tailoring, the new baroque will take a prominent place in your AW17 wardrobe.

Groovy Corduroy

Once perceived as nerdy and uptight, corduroy is now making a convincing statement to be added to your AW17 wardrobe.
