Party proof

While there isn't one right way when it comes to New Year's Eve dressing, some festive glitter certainly cannot harm. In September, fashion week spring/summer 2018 already offered a wide range of inspiration with multiple designers showcasing their take on the shiny paillettes. From feminine glamour at N°21 and Valentino to disco-inspired cool girls at Halpern, there's obviously a multitude of styling options to indulge in next season. Luckily, New Year's Eve makes for the ideal excuse to start practising and shopping those SS18 hits now. For those opting for a heavily sequined dress, make sure to keep other additions to your look to the bare minimum. That way, you allow each dazzling sequin on your outfit to shine even brighter in the spotlight. Just in case an all-out disco ball-inspired look isn't up your alley, a more understated approach to the bedazzled outfit will light that inner party spark. Pair your shimmer and shine with a pair of velvet trousers, a high-shine skirt or a silk top for an incredibly chic silhouette or tone the glamour down a notch with a soft, oversized knit. Now all that's left for you to do is simply to dance the night away!
