Sales are up and running, and you can't enter a store or visit an e-tailer without stumbling upon a significant discount. Which items are sure to catch your eye?
I always go for shoes, handbags and coats. This autumn/winter 2017 season, I would love to score a Loewe handbag. I think their designs are so spot on ever since Jonathan Anderson is in charge. Aside from accessories, I lean towards classic items like a white shirt or denim. Come to think about it; I usually shop my denim during sales. I love 3x1, AG Jeans and Current/Elliott. When it comes to denim, you can often get the latest styles for half the price.
Do you prefer shopping in boutiques or online during sales?
I'll go to stores, but only at the very end of the sales season. Towards the end, it's usually less crowded, and you can score the occasional gems at real bargain prices that can go up to 75% off. For most of the sales season, I'll focus my energy on online shopping though. Thanks to the available wish list tools, online shopping has become incredibly efficient.

I'll invest in timeless pieces like denim, white shirts, a good knit, blazer jackets, shoes, handbags and coats.
Will you check your wish list items the moment online discounts start?
Not really. If it's still on sale (and available in my size) when I go online: it's destiny. Otherwise: bad luck for me. I'm not someone who will set an alarm clock when sales start.

What's the best thing you ever bought on sale?
My Miu Miu fluffy slides. I bought them via my personal shopper in London who has her office on Bond Street. She notified me when they came on sale. They really are the best heels ever.

Is there something you would never buy during sales - even at an incredible discount?
Yes, I recommend steering clear from the trend pieces that you've spotted too many times on Instagram. Personally, I'd rather be inventive and unique. That's why I'll invest in timeless pieces like denim, white shirts, a good knit, blazer jackets, shoes, handbags and coats. Even then we are spoiled for choice.
