Collection autumn/winter 2017
New York designer Ulla Johnson creates apparel for the urban free-spirit. This autumn, debuting her first runway show, Johnson glanced into the disco decade, while still remaining known and loved for her impeccable knits. Not afraid to flirt with little silk velvet, she offered her audience an array of effortless bohemia from an unstructured suit ensemble to a simple cut-out dress, to a top layered under denim overalls. Additionally, a bright prominence on outerwear and evening wear did not go unseen. This winter, Johnson devotees can find themselves wearing oversized officer’s coats or sumptuous shearling, layered over trapeze gowns and smocked rose-coloured silk.
