About the designer

When Re/Done founders Sean Barron and Jamie Mazur launched their luxury vintage denim line in 2014, their intentions were as pure as the brand’s name: redo iconic Levi’s jeans. They found a way to take vintage Levi’s jean apart and transform them into modern silhouettes that feel vintage, but fit to perfection. Their first online launch sold out in a mere 20 minutes and had over 2000 people on the waitlist, a number that only grew higher as the days passed. This instant success proved that the entrepreneurial duo found a major gap in the market and a way to fix it.

Since their initial launch, the brand’s success has spread like wildfire. The jeans’ flawless fit, vintage fabric and unique look created a cult product overnight. Now Re/Done has expanded into their own line of denim, Re/Done Original. A move that was not driven by the idea of offering more volume, but to include stretch denim versions for those who desire it. Plus, it gave the designers the possibility to add more dark jeans options. Aside from that, a vintage-feel T-shirt range was created with Hanes. Tees that are being produced exactly as they were in the fifties and sixties. Finally, a series of collaborations spread the word even further and helped to create iconic jean models. There’s ‘The Leandra’, a high rise cropped flare, designed with blogger and influencer Leandra Medine and ‘The Elsa’, which is the brainchild of model and vintage denim aficionada Elsa Hosk. We’re already eager to discover what the brand has in store for the future.
