Collection autumn/winter 2017
For their last show in New York, designer duo Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez drew inspiration from their memories in the city of dreams. Asymmetry and cut-outs are a rich part of the new autumn/winter collection. These features ooze a certain kind of movement and imply action. The manly-shaped outerwear sports large zippers on the side combined with a deconstructed Proenza Schouler logo. In contrast with the rather tough outerwear, the waist was accentuated in different creations, and the adorable pink, fiery red or soft peach hue of some of the dresses showed a more feminine side of the show. Overall, the creators presented a strong, diverse collection that ended with a homage to their country showing red, white and blue dresses. Heading full throttle for Paris.
