Collection autumn/winter 2017
Miuccia Prada made sure to bundle up for autumn with the house's autumn/winter silhouettes, yet a few looks did show some skin as they featured knitted bra tops and sleeveless knee length dresses. Except for the corduroy trousers, the silhouettes were dominated by pencil skirts and body-con dresses defined by eccentric ostrich feather and ruffle peplum hems. Clashing floral prints were mixed together into one silhouette and featured a blouse, gloves and skirt, layered with a camel brown corduroy pilot-inspired jacket. A satin salmon pink dress with a dramatic front slit showcased red over-the-knee statement boots. The astounding collection radiated a complex mix of fabrics and detailing while still abiding by the Prada-allure.
