Collection spring/summer 2018
Lorenzo Serafini’s ongoing infatuation with the female spirit shone through in the label’s spring/summer 2018 line-up. This season, the designer dressed his models in nautical shades, with red, blue and white accentuating the opening looks. A tomboyish vibe was contrasted by ruffle detailing, keeping things dreamy as ever. A white dress, elevated by a V-shaped neckline and pleated ruffles, instantly became a crowd-pleaser, while lengths varied and belted waists remained consistent. Leaving the colour white by the wayside, the Italian designer opted for brighter shades and knotted waists. A handkerchief silhouette in red and blue stripes danced along the runway, evoking a vibrant elegance. Graphic floral prints made a pit-stop as a springtime success before toughened-up ensembles in black, leather and lace had a moment of their own. Just minutes before the presentation came to a close, tonal bodysuits and minidresses bared lengthy legs. One dress in particular - a soft mint number, complete with pleated cape and embellished shoulder - struck us as a fitting piece to give the collection its final punch.
