Collection spring/summer 2018
Off-white’s creative designer, Virgil Abloh, got inspired by Princess Diana and fashioned his interpretation of her looks by adding the label’s signature streetwear vibe. The collection started off with dark-hued silhouettes featuring a cropped bandeau top, Bermuda shorts, a satin high slit dress paired with a race track-top and a full leather ensemble. More leather silhouettes showed nude coats, wide leg trousers and blazer jacket. The layered tulle evening gown, circle-hoop skirt dress and floral printed organza layered dress brought a sophisticated evening allure. Lightly washed, high waist denim trousers were styled with a statement-sleeved beige blouse jacket. Eighties-inspired blazer and skirt suits were taken straight off the tennis court to the office where models held stiletto heels by hand bringing a contemporary tribute to a ‘Natural Women’-named collection.
