Collection spring/summer 2018
This season, J.W. Anderson's escapist Loewe collection seemed to tell the tale of a well-travelled woman who lingered around a little longer in the countryside. She kept on her straw hat and khaki safari gear, collected little treasures like seashells to hang around her neck as pendants, found paisley prints in India and Liberty florals in London. Her travelling whims soften with a wholesome feel, evident in peasant style dresses, Americana patchworks, quilted designs and homely Gingham checks. Each garment alluded to a care-free romanticism, telling its own tale with unique fabrics and patterns, sometimes delicately feminine and sometimes with a casual street edge.
