Collection autumn/winter 2017
As one of the most coveted designers of the moment, Jonathan Anderson’s collections have shown an experimental and constantly evolving mind. This autumn/winter presentation once again displayed an extreme variety in fabrics and styles yet lead to a coherent collection playing with the idea of uber-feminism. Deconstruction was key in most silhouettes, featuring asymmetric designs, interesting layers and mixed fabrics. Dropped waist balloon skirts and dresses were inserted with contrasting ostrich feather panels while silver chain mail accentuated other pieces. Loosely crafted silk designs lightened the dense fur and shearling jackets. Ultra-cropped leather jackets and a reimagination of the trenchcoat formed the ideal layered silhouette. Beige high-top sneakers finished off the different looks with a casual feel.
