About the designer
Founded in the early 2000s by Ilan Delouis, the brand is completely unrecognisable nowadays. Faith Connexion's resurgence took place after a radical change in strategy. In 2012, the entire design team was replaced by former Balmain creatives. The restructuring had a massive impact on three critical levels: Faith Connexion didn't participate in working with a celeb-status-designer, put a hold on opening mono-brand stores and didn't take part in the fashion industry's conventions on seasonal collections. The brand has established privileged and exclusive relationships with its retailers. The so called 'Circle of Faith' is how they describe these partnerships. Retailers have access to Faith Connexion's inventory-updates, loyalty benefits and so on.
Since the new creative team took the helm, the brand's signature heavily distressed streetwear aesthetics are mixed with graffiti influences.
