About the designer
L.A.-based success story Dita Eyewear was founded in 1995 by childhood friends John Juniper and Jeff Solorio. Fusing their knack for design, the label crafts coveted eyewear of unrivalled quality that is made to last. The production process takes place in Japan, in one of the most skilled optical factories of the world. A single Dita Eyewear pair is meticulously made by hand, with it entailing over three hundred steps and taking up to nine months to create.
Traditional savoir-faire is combined with extraordinary technical innovations, allowing for impeccable quality, time and time again. The optical collections are inspired by Hollywood glamour, ranging from the mid-fifties to the exuberant eighties. Subtle logo detailing embellishes the high-quality materials, rendering genuine wardrobe favourites that will be treasured for years on end.
